VCSL’s Geographical Reference Region
The VCSL geographical reference region covers approximately 18.58 million hectares in southeastern Tanzania, representing about 19% of the country’s total land area. At the start of the Historical Reference Period, about 13.21 million hectares of the reference region were forested.
